The GR-Reseach AV-1  shares a common woofer with several of the designs posted at MurphyBlaster.com. Therefore the cabinet sizes are similar.
The AV-1 is a proprietary design, sold as a complete kit. 
Dennis Murphy offers his designs free to the public, but you must aquire the components on your own. The most well known plan is probably the MBOW1,
however he has also provided for lower priced versions, as in the MB20 and MB27. 
For fans of planar tweeters there is even a version called the Plop-in-the-Box.

Below are some thumbnail images of the various wood finishes available. 
You can click on them to see larger versions. 
They include a 1" thick front baffle, rear mounted ports, and gold input terminals.
Prices range from $150 to $200 per pair, depending on choice of wood.
